As a Research Assistant with Columbia’s Natural Language Processing Group, I built an AI system to extract and analyze social network graphs from literary texts — enabling new methods of character relationship mapping in novels. The work represented early applied research at the intersection of NLP and computational humanities, and was presented as peer-reviewed academic work.
